The Nile River & Lake Nasser

14 Nights / 15 Days, March 2022.

Visits: Cairo (including Giza, Memphis & Saqquara), Aswan, Kasr Ibrim, Amada Oasis, Wadi El Seboua,  Kalabasha, Abu Simbel,  Kom Ombo, Edfu, Luxor, Wadi El Natroun, Alexandria and El Alamein

General Itinerary:

Day 1 Cairo: Upon arrival to Cairo, you will be met by local representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight

Day 2 Cairo: After breakfast, your private Egyptologist tour guide and driver will pick you up and start your tour. Drive to Giza and visit the Pyramids. See the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Continue to Memphis. Lunch en route.  Continue to Sakkara. Return to Cairo and visit a Papyrus Institute on your way to your hotel for overnight.

Day 3 Cairo: After breakfast, drive to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities for a detailed, guided tour. Lunch en route.  Continue to the Mohamed Ali Mosque and the streets of Khan el Khalili Bazaar. Return to your hotel for overnight

Day 4 Lake Nasser Cruise: You will be transferred to Cairo airport for your flight to Abu Simbel, Transfer to your cruise for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the 2 temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. Return to your cruise for cocktails with the fantastic backdrop of the temples. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5 Lake Nasser Cruise: After breakfast, visit Kasr Ibrim and the Amada Oasis.  Lunch on board. Cruise to Wadi El Seboua. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6 Lake Nasser Cruise: After breakfast, visit the Oasis of Wadi El Seboua. Cruise to Aswan. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7 Aswan: Disembark after breakfast. Visit the Kalabsha Temple.Transfer to the hotel for a free afternoon, and overnight.

Day 8 Nile Cruise/ Aswan: After breakfast, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise sailing to Luxor. After lunch, take a ride on a Felucca around Elephantine Island. Continue sailing around Kitchener’s Island and the Mausoleum of the Agha Khan. Return to your cruise for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 Nile Cruise/ Kom Ombo: After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam. Proceed to the Granite Quarries and the huge Unfinished Obelisk. Then take a short motorboat ride to visit the romantic and majestic Philae Temple. Return to your cruise for lunch. Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. Continue to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 10 Nile Cruise/ Edfu: Explore the largest and most completely preserved temple in Egypt, the extraordinary Temple of Horusat Edfu. Sail to Esna, cross the lock and continue to Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board.Evening: enjoy the magnificent sound and light Show at the Karnak Temple.

Day 11 Nile Cruise/ Luxor: Cross to the West Bank of the Nile and visit the Valley of the Kings. Rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. On the way back to the river Nile, your road passes by the famed Colossi of Memnon. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 12 Luxor / Cairo: Disembark after breakfast. Visit the East Bank of the Nile starting with the especially graceful Temple of Luxor. Proceed to the North of Luxor to the Karnak Temple. Lunch en route. In the afternoon, transfer to Luxor airport for your return flight to Cairo, where you will be met by local representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight.

Day 13 Alexandria: Leave Cairo for Alexandria, visiting Wadi El Natroun Enroute. PM Visit to the New Library and Catacombs, late afternoon stroll through Montazah Gardens.

Day 14 Alexandria & El Alamein: Today we visits Pompey’s Pillar the Roman Ruins and Amphitheatre being uncovered at Kom al-Dikka (or similar) before a drive along the foreshore past the replica lighthouse as we head out west to visit El Alamein . In El Alamein we will visit the War Museum as well as the Commonwealth, German and Italian War Graves Sites as well as the museum before heading back to Cairo for an overnight.

Day 15 Cairo: After breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport for your departure flight.

Day 1 Arrival: Arrival to Amman via Queen Alia International Airport – transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 2 Amman / Jerash / Ajloun: After Breakfast - Start the trip by visiting the down town of Amman and the old city, visit the citadel and roman theater, then continue to Jerash one of the best preserved Roman Tone in the world. today you can walk through “ Street of Columns “Roman Cardo. The Tow Huge Temples of Zeus and Airtimes and a lot of other different sites, we later proceed to visit Ajloun castle, then back to Amman for overnight.

Day 3 Madaba / Nebo / Petra: Drive to Madaba to visit St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church in Madaba, Mosaic map built on the Sixth Century AD. It is the oldest preserved and most de-tailed ancient map of the Holy Land; from Lebanon to Egypt, Then drive Mt. Nebo is the memorial of Prophet Mo-ses. Later we proceed to visit Choubak castle, then we head towards Petra for overnight.

Day 4 Petra: After Breakfast - Your ultimate destination is the astonishing rose-red city of Petra. Which was built by Nabateans (An early Arab people). Petra was renowned for its massive architec-ture, pools, dams and water channels. Petra is the legacy of the Nabateans who settle in the South of Jordan more than 2 thousand years ago. The TREASURY, Royal Tombs, The Court, Roman Theatre, Roman Street, and the museum of Petra. Overnight in Petra.

Day 5 Little Petra / Wadi Rum / Dead Sea: We visit little Petra, then heading to Wadi Rum for a jeep adventure. Later we head towards the Dead Sea for overnight.

Day 6 Dead Sea: Relaxing by the beach, overnight in the Dead Sea

Day 7 Departure: Transfer to the airport for departure.
